Mandatory Binding Agreement
Read before using the service
BY ADDING RANKCORE TO A DISCORD SERVER, BEING A MEMBER OF ANY SERVER WHERE IT IS INSTALLED, OR ACCESSING THE DASHBOARD OR API IN ANY CAPACITY, YOU ENTER INTO A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT. Your presence in any Discord server where RankCore is installed automatically constitutes acceptance of all terms herein. You cannot claim ignorance of these terms. If you do not agree in full, you must leave all servers with the bot installed and revoke its authorization immediately.

These Terms of Service apply to all users, server administrators, and entities interacting with RankCore in any capacity. Violations may result in immediate action including account suspension, server blacklisting, or permanent access revocation.

01
Scope & Terminology
Definitions used throughout this document
TermDefinition
"The Service"The RankCore Discord application, web dashboard, associated APIs, web services, and all official support channels operated by the developers.
"The User"Any individual, server administrator, server owner, or entity that interacts with the bot, hosts it in their guild, or accesses any dashboard features.
"Server"A Discord guild or community where the bot is installed and operates. The server owner is responsible for all moderation and compliance within that server.
"Blacklist"A global prohibition preventing a user, server, or account from accessing RankCore services in any capacity.
"IP Verification"An optional security feature, enabled per-server, that collects and analyses a user's IP address to detect VPNs, proxies, alt accounts, and geographic restrictions.
02
Server Moderation & Community Standards
Requirements for servers using RankCore

Active Moderation Team

Servers must maintain at least one active moderator regularly online. Inactive or negligent moderation teams may result in server blacklisting.

Content Moderation Standards

Servers must actively prevent illegal content, NSFW content in general channels, harassment, spam, and hate speech. CSAM is immediately reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.

Discord Guidelines Enforcement

Servers must comply with Discord's Community Guidelines. Communities that knowingly harbour members engaged in harassment, hate speech, or illegal activity face immediate blacklisting.

Enforcement Notice We reserve the right to immediately blacklist servers that become known hubs for prohibited activity. Server administrators cannot claim ignorance as a defence. Repeated complaints result in global blacklisting extending to any server the same team subsequently creates.
03
Forbidden Conduct
Actions that will result in immediate blacklisting
ZERO TOLERANCE PERMANENT BAN

Automated Interaction / Self-Bots

Using user scripts, self-bots, or automation to trigger commands, spam endpoints, or farm bot resources. Any method circumventing normal user interaction is prohibited.

Circumvention & Alt Abuse

Bypassing server blacklists, channel restrictions, or global bans through alternative accounts, proxies, or any other evasion method. Alt-slighting results in permanent blacklisting of all related accounts.

Stress Testing & DoS

Intentionally causing API latency, overwhelming endpoints, flooding commands, or attempting to crash bot shard clusters. Rapid command spam designed to degrade performance for others.

Bug Exploitation

Discovering and utilizing bugs, exploits, or unintended behaviour for personal gain or server damage. All bugs must be reported to our security team immediately.

IP Verification Evasion

Using VPNs, proxies, Tor, or any other method to circumvent the IP Verification system after being blocked by a server's configured policies is a direct violation of these terms and the consent you gave during verification.

Critical Violation Harassment of developers, staff members, or other users through the bot or related platforms will result in immediate blacklisting. This includes targeted campaigns, doxxing threats, or coordinated harassment.
04
Unilateral Termination
The Killswitch Clause

We reserve the absolute right to terminate access for any reason, without reason, with or without evidence, and without warning.

// Grounds for immediate termination (non-exhaustive) [SYS] BREACH_OF_TERMS_DETECTED [SYS] INADEQUATE_SERVER_MODERATION [SYS] HARASSMENT_OF_STAFF_OR_DEVS [SYS] HOSTING_ILLEGAL_CONTENT [SYS] DISRUPTING_SERVICE_STABILITY [SYS] IP_VERIFICATION_EVASION [SYS] REPEATED_VIOLATIONS_AFTER_WARNING [SYS] ANY_REASON_DEEMED_APPROPRIATE [SYS] NO_REASON_PROVIDED
Arbitrary Enforcement Notice Developers retain the unilateral right to blacklist any user, server, or account at any time, for any reason or no reason at all. No explanation, evidence, or due process is required. Once blacklisted, users may not appeal within 12 months.
05
Subscriptions & Refunds
Premium features and payment terms

No Refund Policy

All sales are final and non-refundable. Digital goods are considered consumed upon purchase. Refunds are only available for technical double-billing errors reported within 7 days.

Chargeback Consequences

Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal without first contacting support results in an immediate and permanent Global Blacklist of your Discord account and all associated accounts.

Perk Non-Transferability

Premium perks are tied exclusively to the purchasing account. Transferring, sharing, or gifting premium features without explicit developer approval may result in immediate revocation.

06
User-Generated Content
Your responsibility for content you create or upload

You are solely responsible for any content (text, images, configurations, custom commands) you input, create, or store using RankCore. By using the service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, store, process, and archive this content solely for the purpose of operating the service.

  • You are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for uploaded content.
  • You warrant your content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Content may be stored indefinitely for security, legal, and operational purposes.
Prohibited Content Illegal content, CSAM, hate speech, defamatory material, or IP-infringing content is strictly forbidden. Violations are immediately reported to Discord Trust & Safety, NCMEC, and law enforcement. Users will be permanently blacklisted.
07
Total Limitation of Liability
The "As-Is" provision
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers and operators of RankCore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. The Service is provided "AS-IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times.

We are not responsible for: lost data, deleted messages, corrupted configurations, damaged reputation, loss of server members, financial losses, or any other indirect damages. The Service may be taken offline for maintenance or security patches at any moment without notice.

08
Indemnification
Your responsibility to defend us

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developers, operators, and all agents of RankCore from all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the bot or service
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you create, upload, or share through the bot

09
Modification of Terms
How and when these terms change

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or entirely replace these Terms of Service at any time. Modifications become effective immediately upon being posted to this page.

Important Your continued use of the bot after updates are posted signifies acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree with changes, you must immediately stop using the service and remove the bot from your server.
10
Governing Law
Jurisdiction and legal proceedings

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the lead developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms must be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction. Both parties consent to resolution through binding arbitration in the aforementioned jurisdiction.

11
Support & Dispute Resolution
How to appeal or seek help

Support Server

Primary channel for support requests, blacklist appeals, and general enquiries about these terms.

Email Appeals

Blacklist appeals may be submitted via email no sooner than 12 months after the initial penalty, with a detailed explanation. Abusive appeals extend the blacklist period indefinitely.

12
Severability
If part of these terms is found invalid

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13
IP Verification System
Terms governing the optional IP-based security feature — Added March 2026
What is IP Verification? IP Verification is an optional security feature that server administrators may enable. When enabled, members who click the verification button are directed to a one-time secure link where they consent to having their IP address collected, analysed, and stored. Consent is mandatory and enforced both client-side and server-side — verification cannot be completed without it.

Informed Consent is Required

Before any IP data is collected, users must explicitly agree to the data collection notice presented on the verification gate page. This consent is validated server-side — no data is collected without it. By clicking "Complete Verification" you agree to the IP data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Token Security

Each verification link is a one-time-use token generated from 48 cryptographically random bytes. Tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes — plaintext is never persisted. Tokens expire at a TTL configured by the server administrator (5–30 minutes) and are bound to a specific user/guild pair.

Data Collected During Verification

When you complete IP Verification, the following data is collected and stored in encrypted form:

IP Address Threat Intelligence Discord User ID Guild ID Verification Result Timestamp

Automated Actions by Server Administrators

Server administrators configure the system's response to failed checks. Depending on settings, a failed or flagged verification may result in an automated kick, ban, or alert within the Discord server. These actions are taken by the server administrator's configuration — not unilaterally by RankCore.

Re-Verification

Server administrators may configure a re-verification interval (default 30 days). You may be required to complete IP Verification again after this interval. Each re-verification generates a new one-time token and requires fresh consent.

Your Right to Deletion

Server administrators may delete individual verification records via the dashboard. Users may request deletion of their verification record by contacting the server administrator or our support team. See the Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and GDPR rights.

Evasion Prohibited Attempting to circumvent the IP Verification system — including using VPNs, proxies, Tor, or alt accounts — after being blocked by a server's policy constitutes a violation of Section 03 (Forbidden Conduct) and may result in global blacklisting. You consented to these checks when you initiated verification.
14
Ticket System — Data & Conduct
Terms governing the support ticket feature — Added May 2026
Message Recording Notice By sending messages in any ticket channel created by RankCore, you acknowledge and consent that the full conversation — including text content, file attachments, and images — may be saved as a transcript accessible to that server's administrators and to RankCore staff for operational and security purposes. Do not share passwords, financial information, or other sensitive credentials in ticket channels.

Transcript Storage & Consent

When a ticket is closed, a full HTML and/or web transcript of the conversation is generated and stored. By participating in a ticket, you consent to this storage. Transcripts are retained in accordance with Section 05 of the Privacy Policy (Data Retention). Ticket owners may request deletion of their transcript data via support@rankcore.org.

Administrator Access & Actions

Server administrators and configured ticket handler roles may view all ticket transcripts, add staff notes, set priorities, assign tickets, apply tags, and perform moderation actions (close, lock, delete). These actions are logged. Administrators are prohibited from using ticket data for purposes unrelated to server moderation or support operations.

Prohibited Use of Tickets

The following conduct within ticket channels is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate blacklisting:

Opening false/spam tickets Abuse of ticket staff Sharing NSFW/illegal content Attempting to extract sensitive server info Coordinated mass ticket flooding

Ratings & Intake Responses

Satisfaction ratings (1–5 stars) submitted after ticket closure are stored in association with your Discord User ID and the relevant ticket record. Intake question responses provided when opening a ticket are stored in the ticket record and visible to server administrators. This data is included in the scope of any GDPR or CCPA erasure request.

Auto-Close & Inactivity

Server administrators may configure automatic ticket closure after a defined period of inactivity. Users will receive a warning before auto-closure. Tickets closed automatically generate a full transcript in the same manner as staff-closed tickets. This is disclosed here as a processing activity under GDPR Article 13.

Staff Notes Confidentiality Staff notes added within ticket channels are internal records visible only to users with the ticket handler role and server administrators. They are not shown to ticket owners by default. However, they are included in any data access request made under GDPR or CCPA.
